ZA is an “Urban and literary cafe in Paris”, a new Bistro concept by Philippe Starck. Working closely with GBH, I helped create the animations for the website, app and the screens that appear in the the restaurant. More details to follow; for now you can find out more at the links below.
Working closely with GBH, I created 42 minutes of visuals for Philippe Starck’s President’s Lecture at D&AD. Sold out for weeks, the hotly anticipated President’s Lecture from Philippe Starck delivered controversy and inspiration in equal measure. Against the backdrop of our hypnotic visuals, Starck delved into his philosophy on everything from work to play. Living up to his reputation as an unapologetic maverick, he nonetheless charmed the audience with his cerebral take on celebrity, childhood and science. Watch the full Lecture here, and the Q&A here.
You can view the full animation here.
To coincide with the new season of Game Of Thrones, P&O Ferries are promoting a tour along Ireland’s stunning and mystical Causeway Coastal Route to see where HBO’s award winning television series was filmed. From Winterfell to the King’s Road, The Iron Islands to Stormlands. You can stand on the spot where Lannisters schemed, stroll in the footsteps of Starks, and gaze on grasslands crossed by the Dothraki horde. I created rich media banners for Designate, as part of the campaign, which you can view here.
Black Ops II, the latest instalment of the Call of Duty games series, launched on Nov 12. I was fortunate to be part of the team behind most of the pre-launch advertising activity. Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game grossed over $500 million, beating 2011’s Modern Warfare 3 to become the biggest entertainment launch of all time. Thanks Five By Five!
Working for Five By Five, I helped produce rich media adverts for the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 launch campaign. MW3 was arguably 2011’s most anticipated game and grossed over $775 million worldwide. The online campaign helped raise awareness of what would become Activision’s largest launch to date.
The Puma phone won in the Design Week Awards (Digital Design – Commercial). Many thanks to GBH for their excellent art direction. I animated various on-screen demonstrations and promotions, as part of the launch campaign.
Working for NOBA, I created digital advertising to promote the newly-rebranded 5* channel (formally Fiver). The new identity was created to underline the fun-loving image of the channel and the online advertising needed to reflect this, within a very small file size. You can view the work here.
Peter Robert Smith was featured in the Design Week Interaction Design supplement, which showcased some of the best digital design providers, in response to the ongoing shift to digital in the design industry.
